Isis Academy

What We Do

Our intent is to help participants of our classes to master the skills they need to become a more effective agent of change — and to assist them in developing the personal qualities to inspire, motivate, and lead others.

When the first ISIS Academy workshop was held in Seattle, USA, in 1990, our core purpose was the same as it is today: to help accelerate sustainable development, in all its forms, by helping people become more effective at making change.

It‘s no secret that our world is facing big challenges. The people we call “Change Agents“ have both the professional responsibility and the personal commitment to help make change happen, in their companies, institutions, communities, government agencies, and other organizations.

Making change is easier, faster and more effective if you have a fully developed set of skills, as well as the personal confidence that it takes to introduce, lead, and manage change processes.

Issues related to sustainability, such as environmental improvement or social responsibility, can be especially difficult. They require a “whole-systems“ perspective, and a lot of collaboration among stakeholders with very distinct and different expectations and intents.

Our commitment is to bring the best tools, methods, insights, practices, and experiences to our classes, so that participants can be at their best in taking on the tough, but very rewarding and exciting, challenges of our time.
