Martin is currently delivering leadership, innovation and communication training for environmental scientists both in the UK and the US to clients that include google.org, the Aldo Leopold Leadership Program at Stanford University; the Institute on the Environment (IonE) at the University of Minnesota; and the Scottish Association for Marine Sciences (SAMS), amongst others.
Martin is a highly adaptable, broad-based consultant and trainer, with a wide range of experience in sustainable development, leadership, communications and water-related issues. He has advised senior scientific and policy experts in many developing countries around the world and has proven leadership skills involving managing, facilitating and developing projects and motivating teams to achieve their objectives.
He is also a Director of the Barefoot Partnership, a UK-based training and development consultancy with wide experience and expertise in supporting change in organisations, businesses and teams. He is certified in the use of the ISIS Method and ISIS Accelerator tools for strategic sustainable development. He lives with his wife and son in a south west of the UK.
